Yixing Alex Li, DO

Internal Medicine Physician 

Dr. Li graduated from Georgetown University, School of Medicine, completing his Master of Science in Biophysics and Physiology in 2013.  Thereafter, he attended New York Institute of Technology, College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017. He is Board-certified specialty Internal Medicine. Dr. Li has extensive experience in inpatient care, ICU care, outpatient follow-up, and long-term care in a skilled nursing setting. Very skilled and well-trained in multiple inpatient clinical skills and procedural skills such as intubation, US-guided central venous catheter placement, non-tunneled dialysis catheter placement, chest tube placement, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and lumbar punctures. Practice evidence-based medicine and constantly read clinical studies and societal guidelines. Dr. Li joined Chest and Critical Care Consultants in 2023 and is bilingual in both English and Chinese.
