Dr. Jeyakumar graduated from the University of Ceylon in 1974, did his internship in Internal medicine at Bronx-Lebanon Medical Center in New York, and completed his residency in Internal medicine at St. Mary’s Hospital in Connecticut. Dr. Jeyakumar has worked with Chest and Critical Care since 2005. He is Board Certified in Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Geriatric Medicine and shows interest in Pulmonary Medicine: Interstitial Lung Diseases, COPD, Asthma, and Lung Cancer. He served in the U.S. Armed Services (Reserves) – Discharged honorably as Major in the U.S. Air Force. He served as Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer in managed care organizations and hospitals and also served as Medical Director – Chief Medical Officer in managed care organizations and hospitals.
