Jefferson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and obtained his undergraduate degree in Nursing and pursued a Master of Science in Nursing degree in 1991 at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. He started his career in 1992 as an RN and gained extensive experience mainly in Emergency, Critical Care in various hospitals throughout Los Angeles and Orange County.  He completed his MSN/FNP degree from University of Phoenix in 2005, then started as a Geriatric NP in 2006 with an OC Medical Group and with PIH Health Whittier as a PACU RN from 2008 before joining Chest and Critical Care Consultants in December 2020 as a Hospitalist. Jefferson speaks fluent English, Filipino, and Tagalog.
